Abstract:
(EN) There is provided a sensor including a housing, where the housing has an opening configured to receive a sensing element; an electric circuit operably connected to the housing, where the electric circuit is configured to detect at least one electrical characteristic across at least one pair of electrodes positioned on the sensing element; at least one gas-moving element in electrical communication with the electric circuit; and a reader in communication with the electric circuit, where the reader is configured to compare information about a gas volume external to the housing with information about a gas volume within the housing.
(FR) L'invention concerne un capteur comprenant un boîtier, le boîtier ayant une ouverture configurée pour recevoir un élément de détection ; un circuit électrique relié de manière fonctionnelle au boîtier, le circuit électrique étant configuré pour détecter au moins une caractéristique électrique à travers au moins une paire d'électrodes positionnées sur l'élément de détection ; au moins un élément de déplacement de gaz en communication électrique avec le circuit électrique ; et un lecteur en communication avec le circuit électrique, le lecteur étant configuré pour comparer des informations concernant un volume de gaz extérieur au boîtier avec des informations concernant un volume de gaz à l'intérieur du boîtier.
