Abstract:
(EN) A glass ceramic composite includes a plurality of cells forming a glass ceramic microstructure and a ghost network surrounding and separating individual cells of the plurality of cells, wherein the ghost network is a discontinuity in the microstructure, and wherein metal decorates at least a portion of the ghost network. A method for manufacturing the glass ceramic composite includes forming a glass powder comprising at least one oxide of a metal selected from Groups VI-XII of the periodic table into a green body of desired shape, ceramming the green body by firing at a heating rate from 100 °C/ hour to 350 °C/hour to a hold temperature from 600 °C to 1200 °C and holding the green body at the hold temperature for a duration from 1 hour to 20 hours.
(FR) Un composite en vitrocéramique comprend une pluralité de cellules formant une microstructure en vitrocéramique et un réseau fantôme entourant et séparant des cellules individuelles de la pluralité de cellules, le réseau fantôme étant une discontinuité dans la microstructure, et le métal décorant au moins une partie du réseau fantôme. Un procédé de fabrication du composite en vitrocéramique comprend la formation d'une poudre de verre comprenant au moins un oxyde d'un métal choisi parmi les groupes VI à XII de la table périodique dans un corps vert de forme souhaitée, la céramisation du corps vert par cuisson à une vitesse de chauffage de 100 °C/heure à 350 °C/heure à une température de maintien de 600 °C à 1 200 °C et le maintien du corps vert à la température de maintien pendant une durée de 1 heure à 20 heures.
