Abstract:
(EN) A method for controlling operation of an opposed piston engine is provided, comprising: determining a direction of rotation of the engine; comparing the determined direction of rotation to a correct direction of rotation of the engine; and responding to the determined direction of rotation being different from the correct direction of rotation by taking corrective action.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de commande du fonctionnement d'un moteur à pistons opposés, consistant à : déterminer un sens de rotation du moteur ; comparer le sens de rotation déterminé à un sens de rotation correct du moteur ; et répondre au fait que le sens de rotation déterminé est différent du sens de rotation correct en mettant en œuvre une action corrective.
