Abstract

An electric axle drivetrain assembly (100) for use in a vehicle. The electric axle drivetrain assembly includes a motorv (106) that is drivingly connected to at least a portion of a differential assembly (110). Drivingly connected to ends of the differential assembly is a first axle half shaft (112) and a second axle half shaft (114). At least a portion of a first and second wheel end assembly (120,130) is connected to at least a portion of an end of the first and second axle half shafts opposite the differential assembly. A vehicle suspension system having a support member (140) has a first hub carrier portion (136) connected to a first end portion thereof and a second hub carrier portion (138) connected to a second end portion thereof. Connected to at least a portion of a chassis is the motor and/or the differential assembly.

L'invention concerne un ensemble transmission d'essieu électrique (100) destiné à être utilisé dans un véhicule. L'ensemble transmission d'essieu électrique comprend un moteur (106) qui est raccordé par entraînement à au moins une partie d'un ensemble différentiel (110). Un premier arbre d'essieu (112) et un second arbre d'essieu (114) sont raccordés par entraînement à des extrémités de l'ensemble différentiel.
