Abstract:
(EN) A valve sleeve has a seat portion, a flange portion, a wall portion between the seat portion and the flange portion, and a channel defined by an inside surface of the seat portion, flange portion, and wall portion. The sleeve body may be formed of a cast polyurethane material comprising a product of a part-A component isocyanate prepolymer cured with a part-B component curative. The part-A component isocyanate prepolymer comprises a reaction product of a diisocyanate with a polyether polyol, the isocyanate prepolymer having free reactive NCO content ranging from approximately 10% to approximately 20% by weight. The part-B component curative comprises one or more of a glycol and a diamine extender. The valve sleeve formed of the cast polyurethane material has a Shore A hardness ranging from about 50 to about 80 durometer, and a resilience of approximately 30% to approximately 60%, as measured with the Bashore rebound test.
