Abstract:
(EN) A method includes receiving sensor information from one or more sensors from a vehicle comprising an autonomous driving capability, the sensor information indicating at least one of properties associated with a state or a condition of the vehicle, properties associated with a driving environment of the vehicle, or a state of occupancy of the vehicle; receiving a request for a driving mode transition for the vehicle from a first driving mode to a next driving mode following the first driving mode; determining, based on the received sensor information, a smoothing operation for the driving mode transition; and initiating, based on the determined smoothing operation, the driving mode transition for the vehicle from the first driving mode to the next driving mode. In another embodiment, information associated with one or more parcels on board the vehicle may be used to transition to a next driving mode following the first driving mode.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé consistant à recevoir des informations de capteur provenant d'un ou de plusieurs capteurs à partir d'un véhicule comportant une capacité de conduite autonome, les informations de capteur indiquant au moins l'une des propriétés associées à un état ou à une condition du véhicule, des propriétés associées à un environnement de conduite du véhicule, ou un état d'occupation du véhicule ; à recevoir une demande de transition de mode de conduite pour le véhicule d'un premier mode de conduite à un mode de conduite suivant suivant le premier mode de conduite ; à déterminer, sur la base des informations de capteur reçues, une opération de lissage pour la transition de mode de conduite ; et à lancer, sur la base de l'opération de lissage déterminée, la transition de mode de conduite pour le véhicule du premier mode de conduite au mode de conduite suivant.
