Abstract:
(EN) A network device is provided. The device includes a housing and a switch card, mounted within the housing and having one or more connectors. A plurality of line cards are oriented parallel to each other and orthogonal to the switch card and assembled to the one or more connectors of the switch card. The switch card has a chip, with a plurality of switches or routing paths, and the switch card and the chip couple to the plurality of line cards through the one or more connectors.
(FR) Cette invention concerne un dispositif de réseau. Le dispositif comprend un boîtier et une carte de commutation, montée à l'intérieur du boîtier et ayant un ou plusieurs connecteurs. Une pluralité de cartes de lignes sont orientées parallèlement l'une à l'autre et orthogonales à la carte de commutation et assemblées au(x) connecteur(s) de la carte de commutation. La carte de commutation a une puce, avec une pluralité de commutateurs ou de chemins de routage, et la carte de commutation et la puce se couplent à la pluralité de cartes de lignes par l'intermédiaire du/des connecteur(s).
