Abstract:
(EN) Various aspects described herein relate to techniques for operating mode and cell selections and reselections in wireless communications. In an aspect, the method includes determining that a user equipment (UE) is in an idle mode, and receiving, by the UE, system information from one or more candidate cells including at least a Long Term Evolution (LTE) candidate cell or a New Radio (NR) candidate cell. The method further includes selecting or reselecting, by the UE, a cell from the one or more candidate cells to be camped on and an operating mode from an LTE mode, a Standalone (SA) mode, or a Non-standalone (NSA) mode, based on at least the received system information.
(FR) Divers aspects de l'invention concernent des techniques de sélection et de resélection de mode de fonctionnement et de cellule dans des communications sans fil. Selon un aspect, le procédé consiste à déterminer qu'un équipement d'utilisateur (UE) se trouve dans un mode de repos et à recevoir, par l'UE, des informations de système en provenance d'une ou de plusieurs cellules candidates comprenant au moins une cellule candidate Évolution à long terme (LTE) ou une cellule candidate Nouvelle radio (NR). Le procédé consiste en outre à sélectionner ou à resélectionner, par l'UE, une cellule parmi lesdites cellules candidates à mettre en attente et un mode de fonctionnement parmi un mode LTE, une mode autonome (SA) ou un mode non autonome (NSA), en se basant au moins sur les informations de système reçues.
