Abstract:
(EN) A sample cell apparatus (900) for use in spectroscopic determination of an analyte in a body fluid sample includes a first plate member (910) and a second plate member (920) made from an optically clear material. A channel (913) extending into a surface of the first plate member (910) and an opposing surface of the second plate member (920) houses a floating seal (930), which surrounds a fluid sample chamber (950). The fluid chamber (950) is closed to define a repeatable optical path-length therethrough by urging the first plate member (910) against the second plate member (920) without compressing the floating seal (930) between the first plate member (910) and the second plate member (920). The seal channel (913) is vented to prevent fluid pressure from flexing the first plate member (910) or the second plate member (920). An actuator (980) having an extended foot portion (985) extends over the fluid chamber (950) to help prevent flexing of the first plate member (910) or the second plate member (920).
(FR) La présente invention concerne un appareil de cellule d'échantillon (900) destiné à une utilisation dans la détermination spectroscopique d'un analyte dans un échantillon de fluide corporel et comprenant un premier élément de plaque (910) et un second élément de plaque (920) constitués d'un matériau optiquement transparent. Un canal (913) s'étendant dans une surface du premier élément de plaque (910) et une surface opposée du second élément de plaque (920) loge un joint flottant (930), qui entoure une chambre d'échantillon de fluide (950).
