Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to an air-to-air aftercooler (ATAAC) (108) having a header (204), a plurality of slots (222) defined in the header (204), a plurality of core tubes (208) coupled to the header (204), and a plurality of joint assemblies (234) to couple the header (204) with the plurality of core tubes (208). Each of the plurality of joint assemblies (234) includes an adapter (402), a sleeve (502), and a nut (404). The adapter (402) further includes a first section (508) threadedly engaged with one of the plurality of slots (222). The adapter (402) further includes a tapered section (514) inserted inside a flared end portion (312) of one of the plurality of core tubes (208). Furthermore, the adapter (402) includes a second section (512) defined between the tapered section (514) and the first section (508). The sleeve (502) is disposed around the one of the plurality of core tubes (208) and is engaged with the flared end portion (312) of the one of the plurality of core tubes (208). The nut (404) is engaged with the sleeve (502) and the second section (512) of the adapter (402).
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif de post-refroidissement air-air (ATAAC) comprenant un en-tête (204), une pluralité de fentes (222) définies dans l'en-tête (204), une pluralité de tubes centraux (208) couplés à l'en-tête (204) et une pluralité d'ensembles articulés (234) permettant de coupler l'en-tête (204) à la pluralité de tubes centraux (208).
