Abstract:
(EN) An exemplary component alignment presentation system receives a Received Signal Strength Indicator ("RSSI") signal from a cochlear implant system. The cochlear implant system includes an external component configured to detect a wireless back telemetry signal generated by an internal component and having a detected signal strength indicative of how optimally the external component is aligned with the internal component. The cochlear implant system further includes a processing component configured to generate the RSSI signal based on the signal strength of the detected back telemetry signal and to provide the RSSI signal to the component alignment presentation system. The component alignment presentation system presents, based on the RSSI signal and by way of a user interface, an indication of how optimally the external component is aligned with the internal component to assist a user in optimally aligning the external component with the internal component. Corresponding methods are also disclosed.
(FR) Un exemple de système de présentation d'alignement de composants selon la présente invention reçoit un signal d'indicateur d'intensité de signal reçu ("RSSI") provenant d'un système d'implant cochléaire. Le système d'implant cochléaire comprend un composant externe configuré pour détecter un signal de télémétrie de retour sans fil généré par un composant interne et ayant une intensité de signal détectée indicative du degré auquel l'alignement du composant externe avec le composant interne est optimal.
