Abstract:
(EN) A touch sensing apparatus is provided comprising: a light transmissive panel that defines a touch surface, a plurality of light emitters and detectors arranged along a perimeter of the light transmissive panel, a plurality of optical components arranged along the perimeter of the light transmissive panel, wherein the light emitters are arranged to emit a respective beam of emitted light and the optical components are configured to direct the emitted light to a path across the light transmissive panel. Optionally, optical components comprise a light guide arranged to receive light from the light emitters through a first surface and couple out light travelling in the light guide to the touch surface through a second surface. The second surface may be diffusively transmissive. The light guide may further comprise a reflective surface configured to internally reflect light travelling in the light guide from the first surface to the diffusive surface. The reflective surface may be diffusely reflective, partially diffusely reflective, or specularly reflective.
(FR) L'invention concerne un appareil à activation tactile qui comprend : un panneau transmetteur de lumière qui définit une surface tactile, une pluralité d'émetteurs et de détecteurs de lumière placés le long d'un périmètre du panneau transmetteur de lumière, une pluralité de composants optiques placés le long du périmètre du panneau transmetteur de lumière, les émetteurs de lumière étant placés pour émettre un faisceau de lumière émise respectif et les composants optiques étant conçus pour diriger la lumière émise vers un trajet à travers le panneau transmetteur de lumière. Facultativement, les composants optiques comprennent un guide de lumière servant à recevoir la lumière provenant des émetteurs de lumière à travers une première surface et à coupler la lumière se déplaçant dans le guide de lumière vers la surface tactile à travers une seconde surface. La seconde surface peut être transmissive de manière diffuse. Le guide de lumière peut en outre comprendre une surface réfléchissante conçue pour réfléchir intérieurement la lumière se déplaçant dans le guide de lumière de la première surface à la surface de diffusion. La surface réfléchissante peut être réfléchissante de manière diffuse, réfléchissante de manière partiellement diffuse ou réfléchissante de manière spéculaire.
