Abstract:
(EN) Disclosed are a mobile device and a method for correcting a character string entered through a virtual keyboard, the method comprising: receiving a character string entered through a virtual keyboard displayed on a mobile device; creating correction candidate words corresponding to an input word included in the entered character string; selecting an optimal word from among the input word and the correction candidate words on the basis of match probabilities obtained by applying a language model to the entered character string and corrected character strings, and also on the basis of weights based on at least one of positions of keys on the virtual keyboard, pronunciations, and spellings; and outputting a character string including the selected optimal word in place of the entered character string.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif mobile, et un procédé de correction d'une chaîne de caractères saisie via un clavier virtuel. Le procédé consiste à : recevoir une chaîne de caractères saisie via un clavier virtuel affiché sur un dispositif mobile ; créer des mots de correction candidats correspondant à un mot saisi inclus dans la chaîne de caractères saisie ; sélectionner un mot optimal entre le mot saisi et les mots de correction candidats sur la base de probabilités de correspondance obtenues en appliquant un modèle de langage sur la chaîne de caractères saisie et des chaînes de caractères corrigées, et également sur la base de poids basés sur au moins une de positions de touches du clavier virtuel, de prononciations, et d’orthographes ; et délivrer en sortie une chaîne de caractères comprenant le mot optimal sélectionné à la place de la chaîne de caractères saisie.
