Abstract:
(EN) To provide a method for manufacturing a polyester that includes at least 3-hydroxybutyrate units as polymerization units, has a high molecular weight, and has a narrow molecular weight distribution (specifically, a small Mw/Mn ratio). A method for manufacturing a polyester, the method including culturing a microorganism in a culture medium including a carbon source and a nitrogen source, wherein the polyester has a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000,000 or greater and includes at least 3-hydroxybutyrate units as polymerization units, and culturing conditions are such that the osmotic pressure of the culture medium is maintained at 200 mOsmol to 900 mOsmol during the culturing period and the nitrogen atom concentration of the culture medium is maintained at 0.30 g/L or greater during the culturing period.
(FR) L'invention fournit un procédé de fabrication de polyester qui contient au moins une unité 3-hydroxybutyrate en tant qu'unité polymère, qui est doté d'un poids moléculaire élevé, et qui présente une répartition de poids moléculaire étroite (c'est-à-dire que le rapport Mw/Mn est faible). Plus précisément, l'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de polyester qui inclut une étape au cours de laquelle des microorganismes sont cultivés dans un milieu de culture liquide contenant une source de carbone et une source d'azote. Ledit polyester présente une masse moléculaire moyenne en poids supérieure ou égale à 1000000, et contient au moins en tant qu'unités polymère une unité 3-hydroxybutyrate. Les conditions de cultures sont telles que la pression osmotique du milieu de culture liquide est maintenue à un niveau supérieur ou égal à 200mOsmol et inférieur ou égal à 900mOsm pendant la période de culture, et la concentration en atomes d'azote du milieu de culture liquide est préservée à un niveau supérieur ou égal à 0,30g/L pendant la période de culture.
