Abstract:
(EN) Disclosed is a method for manufacturing an optical fiber parent material that includes a core part and a cladding part. This manufacturing method comprises a step for adding an alkali metal to the inner surface of a quartz-based glass pipe, a step for etching the inner surface of the quartz-based glass pipe to which the alkali metal was added, a step for solidifying the quartz-based glass pipe and producing a glass rod after the etching step, and a step for producing an optical fiber parent material using the glass rod. In the addition step, the quartz-based glass pipe is heated such that the surface temperature of the quartz-based glass pipe is within a temperature range of 1500 or more to less than 2000°C.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un matériau parent de fibre optique qui comprend une partie cœur et une partie gaine. Ce procédé de fabrication comprend une étape consistant à ajouter un métal alcalin à la surface interne d'un tuyau en verre à base de quartz, une étape consistant à graver la surface interne du tuyau en verre à base de quartz auquel le métal alcalin a été ajouté, une étape de solidification du tuyau en verre à base de quartz et de production d'une tige de verre après l'étape de gravure, et une étape de production d'un matériau parent de fibre optique à l'aide de la tige de verre. Dans l'étape d'ajout, le tuyau en verre à base de quartz est chauffé de telle sorte que la température de surface du tuyau en verre à base de quartz se situe dans une plage de température de 1 500 ou plus à moins de 2 000° C.
(JA) コア部及びクラッド部を含む光ファイバ母材を製造する方法が開示される。この製造方法は、石英系ガラスパイプの内表面にアルカリ金属を添加する工程と、アルカリ金属が添加された石英系ガラスパイプの内表面をエッチングする工程と、エッチングする工程の後に石英系ガラスパイプを中実化してガラスロッドを作製する工程と、ガラスロッドを用いて光ファイバ母材を作製する工程と、を備えている。添加する工程では、石英系ガラスパイプの表面温度が1500℃以上2000℃未満の温度範囲内になるように石英系ガラスパイプを加熱する。
