This technology relates to a communication device and method which enable synthesis of information using an original signal and a retransmission signal for retransmitting information that has failed in demodulation of the original signal in wireless communication in which a physical layer and a MAC layer are independent of each other. Information relating to the construction of a retransmission signal for retransmitting information that has failed in demodulation of an original signal is transmitted to a transmission source of the retransmission signal, and the retransmission signal transmitted by the transmission source on the basis of the transmitted information relating to the construction of the retransmission signal is received. This disclosure is applicable, for example, to a transmission and reception device, a communication device, an information processing device, electronic equipment, a computer, a program, a storage medium, and a system.

La technologie de l'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé de communication qui permettent la synthèse d'informations à l'aide d'un signal d'origine et d'un signal de retransmission pour la retransmission d'informations qui a échoué lors de la démodulation du signal d'origine dans une communication sans fil dans laquelle une couche physique et une couche MAC sont indépendantes l'une de l'autre.
