The present invention pertains to a distance measuring device and a distance measuring method configured to enable distances to be measured with increased precision. A control unit: controls a light emission operation by supplying, to a light-emitting unit, a light emission timing signal for controlling a light emission operation that emits radiation light; and controls a light reception operation by supplying, to a light-receiving unit, a light reception timing signal for controlling a light reception operation that receives reflection light. A measurement unit uses the light emission timing signal and the light reception timing signal to measure the lag time between a light emission timing at which the light-emitting unit emits the radiation light and a light reception timing at which the light-receiving unit receives the reflection light. The present invention can be applied to distance measurement in a ToF scheme, for example.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de mesure de distance et un procédé de mesure de distance conçus pour mesurer des distances avec une précision accrue. Une unité de commande : commande une opération d'émission de lumière en fournissant, à une unité d'émission de lumière, un signal de synchronisation d'émission de lumière permettant de commander une opération d'émission de lumière émettant une lumière de rayonnement; et commande une opération de réception de lumière en fournissant à une unité de réception de lumière un signal de synchronisation de réception de lumière permettant de commander une opération de réception de lumière recevant une lumière de réflexion. Une unité de mesure utilise le signal de synchronisation d'émission de lumière et le signal de synchronisation de réception de lumière pour mesurer le temps de retard entre un temps d'émission de lumière auquel l'unité d'émission de lumière émet la lumière de rayonnement et un temps de réception de lumière auquel l'unité de réception de lumière reçoit la lumière de réflexion. La présente invention peut être appliquée par exemple à une mesure de distance dans un système ToF.

本技術は、測距の精度の向上を図ることができるようにする測距装置、及び、測距方法に関する。 制御部は、発光部に、照射光を発光する発光動作を制御するための発光タイミング信号を供給することにより、発光動作を制御するとともに、受光部に、反射光を受光する受光動作を制御するための受光タイミング信号を供給することにより、受光動作を制御する。計測部は、発光タイミング信号と、受光タイミング信号とを用いて、発光部が照射光を発光する発光タイミングと、受光部が反射光を受光する受光タイミングとのずれ時間を計測する。本技術は、例えば、ToF方式で測距を行う場合に適用できる。
