Abstract:
(EN) Provided is a charging member for electrophotographic apparatuses that suppresses the over-charging of a photosensitive drum due to the charge of untransferred toner. According to the present invention, a charging member 10 for electrophotographic apparatuses is provided with an elastic layer 14 and a surface layer 16 that is formed on the outer circumference of the elastic layer 14. The surface layer 16 contains components (a)-(c) described below; and the surface roughness Rz of the surface layer 16 is within the range of 1.0-20 μm. (a) a binder that is composed of urethane (b) a conductive agent (c) a proton donor that has an acid dissociation constant pKa in water at 25°C within the range of from -10 to 15
(FR) L'invention concerne un élément de charge pour appareils électrophotographiques qui élimine le phénomène de surcharge d'un tambour photosensible dû à la charge de toner non transféré. Selon la présente invention, un élément de charge (10) pour appareils électrophotographiques est pourvu d'une couche élastique (14) et d'une couche de surface (16) qui est formée sur la circonférence externe de la couche élastique (14). La couche de surface (16) contient les composants (a)-(c) décrits ci-dessous; et la rugosité de surface (Rz) de la couche de surface (16) se situe entre 1,0 et 20 µm. (a) est un liant composé d'uréthane, (b) est un agent conducteur, et (c) est un donneur de protons dont la constante de dissociation acide (pKa) dans l'eau à 25°C se situe entre -10 et 15.
