A color detection system, comprising: a card having printed thereon a color chart comprising multiple colored areas, and at least one grayscale area; a camera configured to acquire an image comprising a pixel representation of a sample positioned adjacent to the card; a storage device configured to store reference data corresponding to the color chart and the at least one grayscale area; and a processor configured to: perform a grayscale correction to the pixel representation of the color chart and sample using a grayscale correction transformation between the pixel representation the grayscale area and the corresponding reference data, estimate colorimetric coordinates for the sample by applying to the respective grayscale corrected pixel representation, a transformation between the grayscale corrected pixel representation of the color chart and the corresponding colorimetric reference data, and convert the estimated colorimetric coordinates for the sample to RGB.

L'invention concerne un système de détection de couleur comprenant : une carte sur laquelle est imprimé un diagramme de couleurs comprenant de multiples zones colorées, et au moins une zone d'échelle de gris ; une caméra conçue pour acquérir une image comprenant une représentation de pixels d'un échantillon positionné de manière adjacente à la carte ; un dispositif de stockage conçu pour stocker des données de référence correspondant au diagramme de couleurs et à la ou aux zones de niveaux de gris ; et un processeur conçu : pour effectuer une correction d'échelle de gris sur la représentation de pixels du diagramme de couleurs et de l'échantillon à l'aide d'une transformation de correction d'échelle de gris entre la représentation de pixels de la zone d'échelle de gris et les données de référence correspondantes, pour estimer des coordonnées colorimétriques de l'échantillon en appliquant, à la représentation de pixels à échelle de gris corrigée respective, une transformation entre la représentation de pixels à échelle de gris corrigée du diagramme de couleurs et les données de référence colorimétriques correspondantes, et pour convertir les coordonnées colorimétriques estimées de l'échantillon en RVB.
