Abstract:
(EN) A device for measuring a concentration of a component in a target sample includes a flow chamber with a first channel that receives a reference sample having a known concentration of the component. The flow chamber also includes a second channel that receives the target sample having an unknown concentration of the component. A pump operates to pump the reference sample and the target sample at a same volume flow rate through the first and second channels, respectively. A thermal mass flow meter measures a thermal conductivity of the reference sample, a thermal conductivity of the target sample, or both.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant de mesurer la concentration d'un composant dans un échantillon cible et comprenant une chambre d'écoulement dotée d'un premier canal qui reçoit un échantillon de référence ayant une concentration connue du composant. La chambre d'écoulement comprend également un second canal qui reçoit l'échantillon cible ayant une concentration inconnue du composant. Une pompe fonctionne pour pomper l'échantillon de référence et l'échantillon cible à un même débit volumique à travers les premier et second canaux, respectivement. Un débitmètre massique thermique mesure la conductivité thermique de l'échantillon de référence, la conductivité thermique de l'échantillon cible, ou les deux.
