Abstract:
(EN) Systems and methods are disclosed herein for selectively compensating for a specific Intermodulation Distortion (IMD) product(s) of an arbitrary order in a transmitter system. In some embodiments, a method of compensating for one or more specific IMD products in a concurrent multi-band transmitter system comprises generating (100) an IMD correction signal for a specific IMD product as a function of two or more frequency band input signals for two or more frequency bands of a concurrent multi-band signal, the IMD product being an arbitrary order IMD product. The method further comprises frequency translating (102) the IMD correction signal to a desired frequency that corresponds to a Radio Frequency (RF) location of the specific IMD product and, after frequency translating the IMD correction signal to the desired frequency, utilizing (104) the IMD correction signal to compensate for the specific IMD product.
(FR) L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés permettant de compenser sélectivement un ou des produits de distorsion d'Intermodulation (IMD) spécifique d'un ordre arbitraire dans un système émetteur. Dans certains modes de réalisation, un procédé de compensation d'un ou de plusieurs produits d'IMD spécifiques dans un système émetteur multi-bande concurrent consiste à générer (100) un signal de correction d'IMD pour un produit d'IMD spécifique en fonction de deux signaux d'entrée de bande de fréquence ou plus pour deux ou plus de deux bandes de fréquence d'un signal multi-bande concurrent, le produit d'IMD étant un produit d'IMD d'ordre arbitraire. Le procédé consiste en outre à effectuer une translation de fréquence (102) du signal de correction d'IMD à une fréquence souhaitée qui correspond à un emplacement radiofréquence (RF) du produit d'IMD spécifique et, après la translation de fréquence du signal de correction d'IMD à la fréquence souhaitée, utiliser (104) le signal de correction d'IMD pour compenser le produit d'IMD spécifique.
