Abstract:
(EN) An auxiliary control system and method for controlling subsea equipment such as a tree or manifold, for example in the event of failure of a control umbilical. A power unit is installed subsea and then a control tool is coupled to the subsea equipment. Control signals from a topside source are transmitted to the power unit, which powers and controls the control tool in response to the control signals to operate a control element of the subsea equipment, such as a valve.
(FR) L'invention a trait à un système de commande auxiliaire et à un procédé de commande d'un équipement sous-marin tel qu'un arbre ou un collecteur, par exemple en cas de défaillance d'un ombilical de commande. Une unité d'alimentation est installée de manière sous-marine, puis un outil de commande est couplé à l'équipement sous-marin. Des signaux de commande provenant d'une source côté supérieur sont transmis à l'unité d'alimentation, qui alimente et commande l'outil de commande en réponse aux signaux de commande pour actionner un élément de commande de l'équipement sous-marin, tel qu'une vanne.
