Abstract:
(EN) An electrical socket device comprising: a housing defining a socket for receiving a plug; terminals configured to receive electrical power from a power supply; socket contacts configured to receive electrical power from the terminals, for transmission to a plug received by the socket; a main switch device configured to provide selective electrical communication between one of the terminals and one of the socket contacts, the main switch device being actuatable between an on-state in which electrical communication between the one of the terminals and the one of the contacts is provided and an off-state in which electrical communication between the one of the terminals and the one of the contacts is substantially prevented; and a control circuit to actuate the main switch device between the on-state and the off-state, wherein the control circuit is configured to receive a signal indicative of electrical power passing through the socket, to compare this signal to a predetermined threshold, and to actuate the main switch device to the off-state based at least in part on the comparison.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un dispositif de prise électrique comprenant : un boîtier délimitant une prise destinée à recevoir une fiche ; des bornes destinées à recevoir de l'énergie électrique en provenance d'une alimentation électrique ; des contacts femelles destinés à recevoir de l'énergie électrique en provenance des bornes, en vue d'une transmission à une fiche reçue par la prise ; un dispositif de commutation principal destiné à assurer une communication électrique sélective entre l'une des bornes et l'un des contacts femelles, le dispositif de commutation principal pouvant être actionné entre un état activé où une communication électrique entre l'une des bornes et l'un des contacts est assurée et un état désactivé où une communication électrique entre l'une des bornes et l'un des contacts est sensiblement empêchée ; et un circuit de commande servant à actionner le dispositif de commutation principal entre l'état activé et l'état désactivé, le circuit de commande étant destiné à recevoir un signal indiquant un courant électrique traversant la prise afin de comparer ledit signal à un seuil prédéfini, et à actionner le dispositif de commutation principal vers l'état désactivé sur la base, au moins en partie, de la comparaison.
