Abstract:
(EN) A composite comprising vertically aligned carbon nanotubes (VACNT) on a substrate, characterised in that said composite comprises additional disordered carbon deposited on the outer face of the nanotubes. This additional carbon is not amorphous but comprises graphitic domains. This composite can be prepared by a CVD process in the presence of a catalyst on a metal substrate at atmospheric pressure. It can be used as an electrode in electronic and electrotechnical devices, such as supercapacitors.
(FR) Composite comprenant des nanotubes de carbone verticalement alignés (VACNT) sur un substrat, caractérisé en ce que ledit composite comprend du carbone additionnel désorganisé déposé sur la face extérieure des nanotubes. Ce carbone additionnel n'est pas amorphe mais comprend des domaines graphitiques. Ce composite peut être préparé par un procédé de CVD en présence d'un catalyseur sur un substrat métallique à pression atmosphérique. Il peut être utilisé comme électrode dans des dispositifs électroniques et électrotechniques, tels que des supercondensateurs.
