Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to an estimator system for estimating residual liquid content of material discharged from a liquid removal process based on a gas flow directed to the material. The estimator system comprises humidity indicator equipment (101) for obtaining humidity data indicative of a change of humidity of the gas, where the change of the humidity has occurred during the liquid removal process. The estimator system comprises data processing equipment (102) for estimating the residual liquid content based on the humidity data and on pre-stored data expressing a correlation between a decrease of the liquid content of the material and the change of the humidity due to evaporation of liquid from the material during the liquid removal process. Thus, the estimator system utilizes the fact that evaporation of liquid from a wet or moist solid material increases the humidity of the gas used in the liquid removal process.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système d'estimation conçu pour estimer une teneur en liquide résiduel d'une matière après un processus d'élimination de liquide sur la base d'un écoulement de gaz dirigé sur la matière. Ledit système d'estimation comprend un équipement indicateur d'humidité (101) conçu pour obtenir des données d'humidité indiquant un changement d'humidité de la matière, le changement d'humidité s'étant produit pendant le processus d'élimination de liquide. Le système d'estimation comprend un équipement de traitement de données (102) conçu pour estimer la teneur en liquide résiduel sur la base des données d'humidité et de données pré-enregistrées exprimant une corrélation entre une diminution de la teneur en liquide de la matière et le changement d'humidité de la matière dû à une évaporation de liquide de la matière pendant le processus d'élimination de liquide. Ainsi, le système d'estimation utilise le fait que l'évaporation de liquide d'une matière solide humide ou mouillée augmente l'humidité du gaz utilisé dans le processus d'élimination de liquide.
