Abstract:
(EN) The present invention provides a surface mount security barrier. The security barrier (10) comprises a plurality of barrier islands (12). Each barrier island (12) comprises a concrete crash block having at least one pair of opposing side faces (18, 20), and external fixing elements on the opposing side faces. Attachments (14), which may be flexible attachments, extend between the external fixing elements of adjacent barrier islands (12) of the security barrier (10). Each barrier island (12) also has one or more load transfer element within the concrete crash block and, under load, the load transfer elements transfer load from the external fixing elements on one side of the concrete crash block to the external fixing elements on the opposing side of the concrete crash block.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une barrière de sécurité à montage en surface. La barrière de sécurité (10) comprend une pluralité d'îlots (12) de barrière. Chaque îlot (12) de barrière comprend un bloc de collision en béton ayant au moins une paire de faces latérales opposées (18, 20), et des éléments de fixation externes sur les faces latérales opposées. Des fixations (14), qui peuvent être des fixations flexibles, s'étendent entre les éléments de fixation externes d'îlots (12) de barrière adjacents de la barrière de sécurité (10).
