Abstract:
(EN) A process of communication between a transmitting base station (B) with L transmit antennas, and a set of receiving nodes N1, N2,..., NK in a wireless communication system, wherein nodes N1, N2,..., NK have storage capabilities, and wherein the said process involves the steps of: - grouping K users into groups, with a specified number of users per group; - identifying a set of files of interest F1, F2,..., FN, that may be requested by the receiving nodes; - arranging a first time slot (time slot 1) during which said base station (B) transmits a signal x1 corresponding to the downlink transmission with said receiving nodes, where said signal x1 maps information from F1, F2,..., FN, and where said signal x1 is received, processed and partially stored (cached) by said receiving nodes, where caching as at least a function of said grouping; - arranging a second time slot during which some or all receiving nodes Nk, (k = 1,2,..., K) request additional information, each in the form of a file Frk, during which some or all of the receivers feed back some information about the channel, and during which the base station (B) generates a multi-antenna transmit signal x2 with the purpose of transmission of requested data files to said receiving nodes; - executing into some or all said receiving nodes Nk, (k = 1,2,..., K) a decoding process using the information received in said first and second time slots and in the caches, so as to allow each receiving node Nk to compute an estimation of their requested file Frk, whereby the accuracy of the decoding process is improved by prudent utilization of the said steps of grouping, caches, first time slot transmission, and second time-slot transmission.
(FR) L’invention concerne un procédé de communication entre une station de base de transmission (B) comprenant L antennes de transmission, et un ensemble de nœuds de réception N 1, N 2, ..., N K dans un système de communication sans fil, des nœuds N 1, N 2, ..., N K étant dotés de capacités de stockage. Ledit procédé comprend les étapes consistant à : - grouper K utilisateurs dans des groupes, chaque groupe comprenant un nombre spécifié d’utilisateurs ; - identifier un ensemble de fichiers d’intérêt F 1, F 2, ..., F N, qui peuvent être demandés par les nœuds de réception ; - configurer un premier intervalle temporel (intervalle temporel 1) durant lequel ladite station de base (B) transmet un signal x 1 correspondant à la transmission de liaison descendante avec lesdits nœuds de réception, ledit signal x 1 mappant des informations à partir de F 1, F 2, ..., F N, et ledit signal x 1 étant reçu, traité, et partiellement stocké (mis en cache) par lesdits nœuds de réception, la mise en cache étant au moins une fonction dudit groupement ; - configurer un second intervalle temporel durant lequel certains ou tous les nœuds de réception N k, (k = 1,2, ..., K) demandent des informations supplémentaires, sous forme de fichier F rk respectivement, durant lequel certains ou tous les nœuds de réception retournent certaines informations relatives au canal, et durant lequel la station de base (B) génère un signal de transmission multi-antenne x 2 aux fins de transmettre des fichiers de données demandés aux dits nœuds de réception ; - exécuter, dans certains ou tous lesdits nœuds de réception N k , (k = 1,2, ..., K) un processus de décodage à l’aide des informations reçues dans lesdits premier et second intervalles temporels et dans les caches de sorte à permettre à chaque nœud de réception N k de calculer une estimation de leur fichier requis F rk , la précision du processus de décodage étant améliorée par une utilisation prudente desdites étapes de groupement, mise en cache, transmission dans le premier intervalle temporel, et transmission dans le second intervalle temporel.
