Abstract:
(EN) Systems and methods are disclosed for controlling operations of autonomous vehicles and systems in, for example, logistics yards at distribution, manufacturing, processing and/or other centers for the transfer of goods, materials, and/or other cargo. In some embodiments, an autonomous yard tractor or other vehicle can include one or more systems for locating an over-the-road trailer parked in a yard of a distribution center, engaging the trailer, and moving the trailer to a loading dock for loading/unloading operations in accordance with a workflow procedure provided by a central control system. In other embodiments, an autonomous yard tractor can locate the trailer at the loading dock after the loading/unloading operations, engage the trailer, and move the trailer to a parking location in the yard. In some embodiments, the autonomous yard tractor can include a sensor system configured to detect the position of the trailer relative to, for example, the tractor, and/or the dock station can include a sensor system configured to detect the position of the trailer relative to, for example, the dock station during a docking procedure.
(FR) L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés de commande d'opérations de véhicules et de systèmes autonomes, par exemple dans des cours d'opérations logistiques lors de la distribution, de la fabrication et du traitement et/ou dans d'autres centres de transfert de marchandises, matériaux et/ou autres cargaisons. Dans certains modes de réalisation, un véhicule tracteur ou un autre véhicule autonome de cour peut comprendre un ou plusieurs systèmes conçus pour localiser une remorque routière stationnée dans une cour d'un centre de distribution, solidariser la remorque et la déplacer jusqu'à un quai de chargement en vue d'opérations de chargement/déchargement en fonction d'une procédure de flux de travail définie par un système de commande central. Dans d'autres modes de réalisation, un véhicule tracteur autonome de cour peut localiser la remorque au niveau du quai de chargement après les opérations de chargement/déchargement, solidariser la remorque et la déplacer jusqu'en un emplacement de stationnement dans la cour. Dans certains modes de réalisation, le véhicule tracteur autonome de cour peut comprendre un système capteur conçu pour détecter la position de la remorque, par exemple par rapport au véhicule tracteur, et/ou le quai peut comprendre un système capteur conçu pour détecter la position de la remorque, par exemple par rapport au quai pendant une procédure de positionnement à quai.
