The invention relates to an imaging device which comprises: - an incoherent source of rays having a frequency of 0.075 THz to 10 THz for illuminating an object, - a sensor (415) of radiation coming from the object, which comprises a plurality of areas sensitive to the radiation coming from the source and which emits an electrical signal representative of the intensity of the rays coming from the source and reaching each sensitive area of the sensor, - at least one "microscope" optic (260) having a magnification factor higher than one and a resolution more than four times the interpixel divided by the magnification, situated on the optical path of the rays emitted by the source propagating from the source to the ray sensor, passing through the object.

Le dispositif d'imagerie comporte: - une source incohérente de rayons dont la fréquence est comprise entre 0,075 THz et 10 THz pour éclairer un objet, - un capteur (415) de rayonnement provenant de l'objet, qui comporte une pluralité de zones sensibles aux rayonnements issus de la source et qui émet un signal électrique représentatif de l'intensité des rayons issus de la source atteignant chaque zone sensible du capteur, - au moins une optique (260) « de microscope » ayant un facteur de grandissement supérieur à un et une résolution meilleure que quatre fois l'interpixel divisé par le grandissement, située sur le chemin optique des rayons émis par la source allant de la source au capteur de rayons en passant par l'objet.
