The present invention relates to a lighting system component comprising a polymer composition comprising: (a) a (meth)acrylic polymer; and (b) 5.0-90.0 wt% of a copolymer prepared using styrene and maleic anhydride with regard to the total weight of (a) and (b), the total of (a) and (b) being 100 wt%. Such lighting system component has improved resistance to the heat generated by high- intensity light sources, such as LED light sources, whilst demonstrating desired properties including optical properties such as transmission and haze, and whilst also having desired scratch resistance properties.

La présente invention concerne un élément de système d'éclairage comprenant une composition polymère comprenant : (a) un polymère (méth)acrylique ; et (b) 5,0-90,0 % en poids d'un copolymère préparé à l'aide de styrène et d'anhydride maléique par rapport au poids total de (a) et (b), le total de (a) et (b) étant de 100 % en poids. Un tel élément de système d'éclairage présente une résistance améliorée à la chaleur générée par des sources lumineuses haute intensité, telles que des sources lumineuses à DEL, tout en démontrant des propriétés souhaitées, comprenant des propriétés optiques telles que la transmission et le trouble et tout en présentant également des propriétés de résistance aux rayures souhaitées.
