(FR) PROCÉDÉ DE DIAGNOSTIC DU CANCER DU SEIN À PARTIR D'UN ÉCHANTILLON DE SUEUR APOCRINE
Abstract:
(EN) The present invention provides a method of breast cancer diagnostics, in particular diagnostics of primary breast cancer, from a sample of apocrine sweat. This method determines the logarithm of the value expressing the amount of at least one marker in a sample of apocrine sweat taken from the patient's body, the marker being selected from a group of markers identified within the framework of the invention, and an evaluation of the logarithm of the value expressing the amount of the at least one marker in the sample of apocrine sweat in relation to logarithms of the values of this marker determined for persons suffering from breast cancer and for persons not suffering from breast cancer allows to make a diagnostic conclusion consisting in assigning the patient into the group of persons suffering from breast cancer, or the group of persons not suffering from breast cancer. The evaluation usually includes the use of mathematical-statistical methods.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de diagnostic du cancer du sein, en particulier de diagnostic du cancer du sein primaire, à partir d'un échantillon de sueur apocrine. Le procédé de la présente invention détermine le logarithme de la valeur exprimant la quantité d'un ou plusieurs marqueurs dans un échantillon de sueur apocrine prélevé sur le corps du patient, le ou les marqueurs étant sélectionnés dans un groupe de marqueurs identifiés dans le cadre de la présente invention et une évaluation du logarithme de la valeur exprimant la quantité du ou des marqueurs dans l'échantillon de sueur apocrine par rapport à des logarithmes des valeurs de ce marqueur déterminées pour des personnes souffrant d'un cancer du sein et pour des personnes ne souffrant pas d'un cancer du sein permet d'obtenir une conclusion de diagnostic consistant à attribuer le patient au groupe de personnes souffrant d'un cancer du sein ou au groupe de personnes ne souffrant pas d'un cancer du sein. L'évaluation comprend généralement l'utilisation de procédés mathématiques et statistiques.
