A display panel (100, 101, 102) and a manufacturing method therefor, the display panel (100, 101, 102) comprising: a substrate (110); multiple active switches (145) disposed on the substrate (110); a passivation layer (160), disposed on the substrate (110) and covering the active switches (145); a pixel definition layer (180) disposed on the passivation layer (160), the pixel definition layer (180) having multiple light-emitting elements (192, 194); a planarization layer (172) disposed between the passivation layer (160) and the pixel definition layer (180), the planarization layer (172) having a groove structure; a color resistance layer (170), disposed between the passivation layer (160) and the planarization layer (172), and aligned with the groove structure of the passivation layer (172); and a transparent electrode layer (174), disposed on the planarization layer (172) and covering the groove structure. The light-emitting elements (192, 194) are disposed in the groove structure of the planarization layer (172), and are disposed aligned with the color resist layer (170). The display panel (100, 101, 102) and the manufacturing method therefor may increase luminous efficacy of a self-illuminating panel, improve panel processing and yield, and decrease color shifting of the self-illuminating display panel (100, 101, 102).
