A Panum's area measurement method, comprising the following steps: projecting a first parallax image of a spatial object to the left eye of a tested user and projecting a second parallax image of a spatial object to the right eye of the tested user, the first parallax image comprising a first homologous point and the second parallax image comprising a second homologous point; adjusting the horizontal parallax amount of the first homologous point and the second homologous point until the tested user observes the spatial object producing a ghost image; acquiring a parallax amount parameter Δne and, on the basis of the parallax amount parameter Δne, calculating the horizontal physical spacing Δx between the first homologous point and the second homologous point; and, on the basis of the horizontal physical spacing Δx, calculating the Panum's area range (μin, μout) of the tested user.

Selon la présente invention, un procédé de mesure de zone de Panum comprend les étapes suivantes consistant : à projeter une première image de parallaxe d'un objet spatial à l’œil gauche d'un utilisateur testé et à projeter une seconde image de parallaxe d'un objet spatial à l’œil droit de l'utilisateur testé, la première image de parallaxe comprenant un premier point homologue et la seconde image de parallaxe comprenant un second point homologue ; à ajuster la quantité de parallaxe horizontale du premier point homologue et du second point homologue jusqu'à ce que l'utilisateur testé observe l'objet spatial produisant une image fantôme ; à acquérir un paramètre de quantité de parallaxe Δne et, sur la base du paramètre de quantité de parallaxe Δne, à calculer l'espacement physique horizontal Δx entre le premier point homologue et le second point homologue ; et, sur la base de l'espacement physique horizontal Δx, à calculer la plage de zone de Panum (μin, μout) de l'utilisateur testé.
