Abstract:
(EN) A device is provided for obtaining an image of eyewear from a forced perspective such that measurements of the eyewear can be obtained from the image. The device includes a horizontal alignment indicator and a vertical alignment indicator that each span across two non-coplanar surfaces. When an image is captured from the proper predefined horizontal and vertical positions with respect to the device, the horizontal and vertical indicators will align across the two non-coplanar surfaces. The device can also include a distance indicator. The device can be constructed from a kit that can be easily mailed in a flat envelope. A mobile device can be configured to assist with capturing the measurement image and provide feedback to assist the user to properly position the mobile device to obtain the measurement image.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un dispositif pour obtenir une image de lunettes depuis une perspective forcée de sorte que des mesures des lunettes puissent être obtenues à partir de l’image. Le dispositif comprend un indicateur d’alignement horizontal et un indicateur d’alignement vertical qui s’étendent chacun sur deux surfaces non coplanaires. Lorsqu’une image est capturée depuis des positions horizontale et verticale prédéfinies appropriées par rapport au dispositif, les indicateurs horizontal et vertical s’alignent sur les deux surfaces non coplanaires. Le dispositif peut comprendre en outre un indicateur de distance. Le dispositif peut être construit à partir d’un kit qui peut être facilement envoyé par courrier dans une enveloppe plate. Un dispositif mobile peut être configuré pour faciliter la capture de l’image de mesure et fournir une rétroaction pour aider l’utilisateur à positionner correctement le dispositif mobile pour obtenir l’image de mesure.
