Abstract:
(EN) An electronic delivery network scheduling and tracking control system is configured for more accurately predicting delivery times for shipments including for dispatch routing optimisation thereof in embodiments. The present system uses a supervised machine learning (SML) subsystem to predict source and/or destination handling times to therefore calculate a total predicted delivery work time comprising both transit time and handling time. The SML subsystem uses a machine learning module which is trained using previous shipment handling times inferred from carrier electronic tracking device sensor data and associated destination classification data. The trained machine is then able to output a predicted handling times in accordance with at least one destination classification. The supervised machine learning subsystem may take the form of an artificial neural network (ANN).
(FR) L'invention concerne un système électronique de planification et de commande de suivi de réseau de distribution, configuré pour prédire plus exactement les heures de livraison pour des expéditions, y compris pour une optimisation de leur routage de répartition dans certains modes de réalisation. Le présent système utilise un sous-système d'apprentissage automatique supervisé (SML) pour prédire des temps de manipulation à la source et/ou à destination afin de calculer en conséquence un temps de travail total prédit de distribution comportant à la fois le temps de transit et le temps de manipulation. Le sous-système de SML utilise un module d'apprentissage automatique qui est entraîné en utilisant des temps de manipulation d'expéditions antérieures déduits de données de capteurs de dispositifs électroniques de suivi de transporteurs et de données de classification de destinations associées. La machine entraînée est alors capable de délivrer un temps de manipulation prédit en fonction d'au moins une classification de destination. Le sous-système d'apprentissage automatique supervisé peut prendre la forme d'un réseau neuronal artificiel (ANN).
