Abstract:
(EN) A fall detection system (1) comprising one or more movement sensors (2) for detecting a movement of a user. A processor (3) is provided for receiving movement data from the movement sensors (2). The processor (3) analyzes the movement data to identify a free-fall (4) by the user followed by an impact (5) by the user. The processor (3) identifies a detected fall and sends an alert signal when the free-fall (4) reaches a free-fall threshold (6) and the impact (5) reaches an impact threshold (7).
(FR) La présente invention concerne un système de détection de chute (1) comprenant au moins un capteur de mouvement (2) servant à détecter un mouvement d'un utilisateur. Un processeur (3) est destiné à recevoir des données de mouvement provenant dudit capteur (2), à analyser les données de mouvement de manière à identifier une chute libre (4) de l'utilisateur suivie d'un choc (5) de l'utilisateur, et à identifier une chute détectée puis à envoyer un signal d'alerte quand la chute libre (4) atteint un seuil de chute libre (6) et que le choc (5) atteint un seuil de choc (7).
