Abstract:
(EN) Methods and software for electrochemical energy storage management including operation, planning, and valuation. The decision objective for operation is to maximize the total/remaining life-cycle benefit of electrochemical energy storage subject to degradation and other operational constraints. The operational decisions are through short to long terms to ad-dress the intertemporal trade-offs brought by degradation issue. Two metrics are proposed for operational and planning decisions respectively: marginal benefit of usage and average benefit of usage. A sample algorithm is provided to solve the multi-timescale optimization problem.
(FR) L'invention concerne des procédés et un logiciel de gestion de stockage d'énergie électrochimique couvrant les aspects de l'exploitation, de la planification et de l'évaluation. L'objectif de décision d'une exploitation est de maximiser le bénéfice total/restant au cours du cycle de vie d'un système de stockage d'énergie électrochimique soumis à une dégradation et d'autres contraintes opérationnelles. Les décisions opérationnelles sont prises à court, moyen et long terme pour gérer les arbitrages intertemporels suscités par la question de la dégradation. Deux métriques sont proposées pour des décisions d'exploitation et de planification respectivement : le bénéfice marginal d'utilisation (MBU) et le bénéfice moyen d'utilisation (ABU). Un algorithme d'échantillonnage est proposé pour résoudre le problème de l'optimisation à échelles de temps multiples.
