Abstract:
(EN) A mobile phone-based dark field microscope (MDFM) apparatus suitable for quantifying nanoparticle signals is provided. The MDFM apparatus includes an electrically operated light source, a dark-field condenser, a slide housing configured to receive an analytical slide, and an adapter housing configured to receive an objective lens and receive a portable electronic communication device. The slide housing positions the analytical slide between the objective lens and the dark-field condenser. The adapter housing registers the objective lens with a camera lens of the portable electronic communication device. A method for performing a biological quantitative study using the dark-field microscope apparatus is further provided.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un appareil de microscope à fond noir (MDFM) à base de téléphone mobile adapté pour quantifier des signaux de nanoparticules. L'appareil MDFM comprend une source de lumière à commande électrique, un condenseur à fond noir, un boîtier de lame configuré pour recevoir une lame analytique, et un boîtier d'adaptateur configuré pour recevoir une lentille d'objectif et recevoir un dispositif de communication électronique portable. Le boîtier de lame positionne la lame analytique entre la lentille d'objectif et le condenseur à fond noir. Le boîtier d'adaptateur aligne la lentille d'objectif avec une lentille de caméra du dispositif de communication électronique portable.
