Abstract:
(EN) Multi-layer films, and processes to make the films, that enable the delivery of a substrate featuring a peelable thin layer of low haze, amorphous, isotropic film with the desired properties of high modulus, high usage temperature, UV blockage, and toughness. The films are made using a co-extrusion, co-orientation and annealing process to enable the delivery of a thin isotropic, UV blocking layer on top of a release layer and support substrate. These film constructions can be kept together during additional processing steps such as coating and converting. The release and dimensionally stable substrate layer can be easily removed once processing steps are completed.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des films multicouches, et des procédés de fabrication des films, qui permettent l'administration d'un substrat présentant une couche mince pouvant être pelée de film isotrope, amorphe, à faible brume, ayant les propriétés souhaitées de module élevé, de température d'utilisation élevée, de blocage UV et de ténacité. Les films sont fabriqués à l'aide d'un procédé de co-extrusion, de co-orientation et de recuit pour permettre l'administration d'une couche mince de blocage UV isotrope sur le dessus d'une couche de libération et d'un substrat de support. Ces constructions de film peuvent être maintenues ensemble pendant des étapes de traitement supplémentaires telles que le revêtement et la conversion. La couche de substrat de libération et à dimension stable peut être facilement retirée une fois les étapes de traitement réalisées.
