Abstract:
(EN) Certain aspects of a natural gas liquid fractionation plant waste heat conversion to power using dual turbines Organic Rankine Cycle can be implemented as a first heating fluid circuit thermally coupled to first multiple heat sources of a natural gas liquid (NGL) fractionation plant, a second heating fluid circuit thermally coupled to second multiple heat sources of the NGL fractionation plant, and two power generation systems, each including an organic Rankine cycle (ORC). A control system actuates a first set of control valves to selectively thermally couple the first heating fluid circuit to at least a portion of the first multiple heat sources of the NGL fractionation plant, and to actuate a second set of control valves to selectively thermally couple the second heating fluid circuit to at least a portion of the second multiple heat sources of the NGL fractionation plant.
(FR) L'invention concerne selon certains aspects, une conversion en énergie de la chaleur perdue d'une installation de fractionnement de liquide de gaz naturel à l'aide d'un cycle de Rankine organique à deux turbines pouvant être mis en œuvre sous la forme d'un premier circuit de fluide de chauffage couplé thermiquement à des premières sources de chaleur multiples d'une installation de fractionnement de liquide de gaz naturel (NGL), d'un second circuit de fluide de chauffage couplé thermiquement à des secondes sources de chaleur multiples de l'installation de fractionnement de NGL, et de deux systèmes de génération d'énergie, comprenant chacun un cycle de Rankine organique (ORC). Un système de commande actionne un premier ensemble de vannes de commande pour coupler thermiquement de manière sélective le premier circuit de fluide de chauffage à au moins une partie des premières sources de chaleur multiples de l'installation de fractionnement de NGL, et pour actionner un second ensemble de vannes de commande pour coupler thermiquement de manière sélective le second circuit de fluide de chauffage à au moins une partie des secondes sources de chaleur multiples de l'installation de fractionnement de NGL.
