Abstract:
(EN) A mineral extraction system features at least one hydrocyclone, each having input piping, underflow piping, a cyclone portion and overflow piping; a particle size measurement device arranged on some part of the at least one hydrocyclone and configured to sense particles flowing in a process medium, and providing signaling containing information about the size of the particles in the process medium; and a controller having a signal processor configured to receive the signaling, and determine control signaling to control some part of the mineral extraction system, based upon the signaling received.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système d'extraction de minéraux comprenant un ou plusieurs hydrocyclones, possédant chacun une tuyauterie d'entrée, une tuyauterie de sousverse, une partie cyclone et une tuyauterie de trop-plein ; un dispositif de mesure de taille de particule disposé sur une partie desdits hydrocyclones et conçu pour détecter des particules s'écoulant dans un milieu de traitement, et fournir une signalisation contenant des informations concernant la taille des particules dans le milieu de traitement ; et un dispositif de commande comprenant un processeur de signal conçu pour recevoir la signalisation et déterminer une signalisation de commande afin de commander une partie du système d'extraction de minéraux, en fonction de la signalisation reçue.
