Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to, in part, compositions and methods for delivery of novel mixtures of bacterial strains for the decolonization and/or eradication of various pathogenic bacteria and, particularly, antibiotic-resistant bacteria (ARB). The present invention comprises a pharmaceutical composition comprising a bacterial mixture comprising a 16S rRNA sequence that is greater than about 97% identical to the 16S rRNA sequence of any one of the operational taxonomic units (OTUs) recited in Table 5 and/or to the 16S rRNA sequence of any one OTU of a genus recited in Table 6. The present invention provides a method for treating an infection by one or more pathogens, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of the pharmaceutical composition.
(FR) La présente invention concerne, en partie, des compositions et des procédés destinés à l'administration de nouveaux mélanges de souches bactériennes pour la décolonisation et/ou l'éradication de diverses bactéries pathogènes et, en particulier, de bactéries résistantes aux antibiotiques (ARB). La présente invention concerne une composition pharmaceutique comprenant un mélange bactérien comprenant une séquence d'ARNr 16S ayant une identité supérieure à environ 97 % de la séquence d'ARNr 16S de l'une quelconque des unités taxonomiques opérationnelles (OTU) décrites dans le tableau 5 et/ou à la séquence d'ARNr 16S de l'une quelconque des OTU d'un genre décrit dans le tableau 6. La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement d'une infection par un ou plusieurs pathogènes, comprenant l'administration à un sujet en ayant besoin d'une quantité efficace de la composition pharmaceutique.
