Abstract:
(EN) Certain aspects of natural gas liquid fractionation plant waste heat conversion to simultaneous power, cooling and potable water using integrated mono-refrigerant triple cycle and modified MED system can be implemented as a system that includes two heating fluid circuits thermally coupled to multiple heat sources of a NGL fractionation plant. An integrated triple cycle system, which includes an organic Rankine cycle (ORC), a refrigeration cycle and an ejector refrigeration cycle, is thermally coupled to the first heating fluid circuit. A MED system, configured to produce potable water, thermally coupled to the second heating fluid circuit. The system includes a control system configured to actuate control valves to selectively thermally couple the heating fluid circuits to portions of the heat sources of the NGL fractionation plant.
(FR) L'invention concerne certains aspects de la conversion de la chaleur perdue d'une installation de fractionnement de liquide de gaz naturel simultanément en énergie, eau de refroidissement et potable à l'aide d'un système de MED modifié mono-réfrigérant à triple cycle intégré qui peuvent être mis en œuvre sous la forme d'un système qui comprend deux circuits de fluide de chauffage couplés thermiquement à de multiples sources de chaleur d'une installation de fractionnement de GNL. Un système intégré à triple cycle, qui comprend un cycle de Rankine organique (CRO), un cycle de réfrigération et un cycle de réfrigération d'éjecteur, est couplé thermiquement au premier circuit de fluide de chauffage. Un système MED, conçu pour produire de l'eau potable, est couplé thermiquement au second circuit de fluide de chauffage. Le système comprend un système de commande conçu pour actionner des vannes de commande pour coupler thermiquement de manière sélective les circuits de fluide de chauffage à des parties des sources de chaleur de l'installation de fractionnement de GNL.
