Abstract:
(EN) A laryngoscope includes a curved blade including a proximal end, a distal end, and a first channel. The laryngoscope also includes a handle and a second channel. The handle includes a non-electric light source, e.g., a chemiluminescent light source. A catalytic agent in the chemiluminescent light source is activated by pressure on the chemiluminescent light source to generate light that transmits along the first channel. The second channel is disposed proximate and through the blade and configured to provide at least one of oxygen, suction, and an instrumentation into the proximal end and out of the distal end of the blade.
(FR) Un laryngoscope comprend une lame incurvée comprenant une extrémité proximale, une extrémité distale et un premier canal. Le laryngoscope comprend également une poignée et un second canal. La poignée comprend une source de lumière non électrique, par exemple, une source de lumière chimiluminescente. Un agent catalytique dans la source de lumière chimioluminescente est activé par pression sur la source de lumière chimioluminescente pour générer de la lumière qui transmet le long du premier canal.
