Abstract:
(EN) An interference detection methods and receivers for receiving an RF signal including a desired RF signal and an intermittent interference signal, estimating thermal noise of the receiver by statistically analyzing a plurality of time intervals of data of the received RF signal, including at least one data interval not including the interferer, estimating an intermittent-interference-plus- noise level by statistically analyzing an extended time interval of the data, determining an interference metric based on a ratio of the estimates, and evaluating the interference metric against one or more thresholds to detect the presence or absence of degrading RF interference. The statistical analysis may include application of order statistic filtering.
(FR) L'invention concerne des procédés de détection d'interférence et des récepteurs destinés à recevoir un signal RF comprenant un signal RF souhaité et un signal d'interférence intermittent, estimer le bruit thermique du récepteur par analyse statistique d'une pluralité d'intervalles de temps de données du signal RF reçu, comprenant au moins un intervalle de données ne comprenant pas la source d'interférence, estimer un niveau d'interférence plus bruit intermittent par analyse statistique d'un intervalle de temps étendu des données, déterminer une métrique d'interférence sur la base d'un rapport des estimations et évaluer la mesure d'interférence à l'encontre d'un ou de plusieurs seuils pour détecter la présence ou l'absence d'interférence RF de dégradation. L'analyse statistique peut comprendre l'application d'un filtrage statistique d'ordre.
