Abstract:
(EN) An improved molded tool formed from a compression mold material and corresponding method of manufacture is disclosed. The molded tool has a first end, a second end separated from the first end by a sidewall formed from a heat-sensitive polymeric matrix. The sidewall has an interior surface with a first strength and an exterior surface with a second strength, the first strength being greater than the second strength. Further, the molded tool is formed by a method that includes exerting an expansive force within an interior of the compression mold material, the expansive force having a directional vector along the central axis.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un outil moulé amélioré formé d’un matériau de moulage par compression et le procédé de fabrication correspondant. L’outil moulé présente une première extrémité, une seconde extrémité séparée de la première extrémité par une paroi latérale formée d’une matrice polymère sensible à la chaleur. La paroi latérale présente une surface intérieure ayant une première résistance et une surface extérieure ayant une seconde résistance, la première résistance étant supérieure à la seconde résistance. En outre, l’outil moulé est formé selon un procédé qui consiste à exercer une force d’expansion à l’intérieur d’un intérieur du matériau de moulage par compression, la force d’expansion ayant un vecteur directionnel le long de l’axe central.
