Abstract:
(EN) Systems and methods for operating autonomous vehicles are described. An autonomous vehicle may detect strategy modes and/or actions of other vehicles in a local environment. The autonomous vehicle may then select a strategy mode for its operations based on the detected strategy modes and/or actions of other vehicles, and based on an operational goal for the autonomous vehicle. The strategy modes may include an uncoupled strategy mode, a permissive strategy mode, an assistive strategy mode, and a preventative strategy mode. The autonomous vehicle may further select an action for its operations based on the selected strategy mode.
(FR) L'invention concerne des systèmes et procédés pour faire fonctionner des véhicules autonomes. Un véhicule autonome peut détecter des modes de stratégie et/ou des actions d'autres véhicules dans un environnement local. Le véhicule autonome peut ensuite sélectionner un mode de stratégie pour ses opérations sur la base des modes de stratégie détectés et/ou des actions détectées d'autres véhicules, et sur la base d'un objectif opérationnel pour le véhicule autonome. Les modes de stratégie peuvent comprendre un mode de stratégie découplé, un mode de stratégie permissif, un mode de stratégie d'assistance et un mode de stratégie préventif.
