Abstract:
(EN) Methods, systems, and devices for improving uniformity between levels of a multi-level signal are described. Techniques are provided herein to unify peak-to-peak voltage differences between the amplitudes of data transmitted using multi-level signaling. Such multi-level signaling may be configured to increase a data transfer rate without increasing the frequency of data transfer and/or a transmit power of the communicated data. An example of multi-level signaling scheme may be pulse amplitude modulation (PAM). Each unique symbol of the multi-level signal may be configured to represent a plurality of bits of data.
(FR) L'invention concerne des procédés, des systèmes et des dispositifs permettant d'améliorer l'uniformité entre des niveaux d'un signal multi-niveau. L'invention concerne des techniques pour unifier des différences de tension de crête à crête entre les amplitudes de données transmises à l'aide d'une signalisation multi-niveau. Une telle signalisation multi-niveau peut être configurée pour augmenter un débit de transfert de données sans augmenter la fréquence de transfert de données et/ou une puissance d'émission des données communiquées. Un schéma de signalisation multi-niveau donné à titre d'exemple peut être une modulation d'amplitude d'impulsion (PAM). Chaque symbole unique du signal multi-niveau peut être configuré pour représenter une pluralité de bits de données.
