Abstract:
(EN) An angular sensor, comprising a Coriolis vibratory gyroscope (CVG) resonator, capable of oscillating along a first pair of normal n=1 modes comprising a first normal mode and a second normal mode; and a second pair of normal n=2 modes comprising a third normal mode and a fourth normal mode; the sensor further comprising one drive electrode and one sense electrode aligned along an anti-nodal axis of each mode; and a pair of bias tune electrodes aligned with an anti-nodal axis of each mode if no drive and sense electrode pair is aligned with said anti-nodal axis.
(FR) L'invention concerne un capteur angulaire comprenant un résonateur de gyroscope vibratoire de Coriolis (CVG) pouvant osciller selon une première paire de modes normaux n = 1 comprenant un premier mode normal et un deuxième mode normal; et une deuxième paire de modes normaux n = 2 comprenant un troisième mode normal et un quatrième mode normal; le capteur comprenant en outre une électrode d'excitation et une électrode de détection alignées selon un axe anti-nodal de chaque mode; et une paire d'électrodes de réglage de polarisation alignées avec un axe anti-nodal de chaque mode si aucune paire d'électrodes d'excitation et de détection n'est alignée avec ledit axe anti-nodal.
