CLAIMS

1 . Sunscreen composition characterized in comprising at least one phosphor selected form Eu-Sm doped GdYEu(Mo04)3/ Mn doped Mg 1 065024, Eu-doped CaAISiN3, Eu doped (Sr,Ca)AISiN3, Ce doped (LaY)3Si6Nll, Ce doped Lu3AI5012 or their blends and at least one excipient.

2. A photostable sunscreen emulsion composition according to claim 1, wherein the active sunscreen agents comprising (Sr,Ca) AISiN3 which is doped by Eu, and/or GdYEu(Mo04)3 doped by Eu and Sm ,and, Mgl4Ge5024 doped by Mn, CaAISiN3 doped by Eu, and/or, (LaY)3Si6Nlldoped by Ce or Lu3AI5012 doped by Ce or their blends are immediately activated upon exposure to the sunlight.

The sunscreen formulation according to claim 1 wherein the cosmetic excipients selected from natural oils, thickeners, emulsifiers, structuring agents and humectants comprises deionized water, sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC), glycerin, cetyl alcohol and glyceryl stearate, Oleic Acid (C18:l), Linoleic Acid (C18:2. Palmitic Acid (C16:0), Stearic Acid (C18:0), Linolenic Acid (C18:3)(specifically alpha-Linolenic Acid), panthenol, tocopheryl acetate, retinol, lecithin, disodium EDTA, mastic acid, and tannins tri-, tetra-, and pentacyclic triterpene acids and alcohols including isopropyl alcohol, styrene, cinnamyl alcohol and a-pinene.

Composition according to claim 1, wherein: the insoluble ultraviolet absorbers are (Sr,Ca)AISiN3 which is doped by Eu, and/or GdYEu(Mo04)3 which is doped by Eu and Sm and/or Mgl4Ge5024 which is doped by Mn, CaAISiN3 which is doped by Eu, and/or, (LaY)3Si6Nll which is doped by Ce and/or Lu3AI5012 which is doped by Ce or, their blends,

5. Composition according to claim 1, wherein the size of the phosphors may be in the range of 100 nm-50.0 pm.

6. Composition according to claim 1, wherein the amount of the CaAISiN3 or (Sr Ca)AISiN3 is in the range of %0.001-%10.000 by weight of the total composition.

7. Composition according to claim 1, wherein the oxidation states of the Eu and Sm in the GdYEu(Mo04)3 are Eu3+and Sm 3+, respectively.

8. Composition according to claim 1, wherein the amount of the GdYEu(Mo04)3 is in the range of %0.001-%1.000 by weight of the total composition.

9. Composition according to claim 1, wherein the amount of the Mgl4Ge502 is in the range of %0.001-%1.000 by weight of the total composition.

10. Composition according to claim 1, wherein the amount of the Ce doped Lu3AI5012, or Ce doped (LaY)3Si6Nll is in the range of %0.001-%1.000 by weight of the total composition.

1 1 .Composition according to claim 1, wherein the amount of the mastic acid, and tri-, tetra-, and pentacyclic triterpene acids and alcohols, more specifically a-terpineol, p- cymene-8-ol, myrtenal, p-cymene, limonene, (E)-carveol, 2-undecanone, a-and β- caryophyllene, caryphyllene oxide and (E)-Me isoeugenol, is in the range of %0.001- %1.000 by weight of the total composition.

12. Composition, according to claim 1, wherein the amount of the Oleic Acid (C18: l), Linoleic Acid (C18:2. Palmitic Acid (C16:0), Stearic Acid (C18:0), Linoleic Acid (CI 8: 3) (specifically alpha-Linolenic Acid), is in the range of %0.001-%.5.000 by weight of the total composition.

13. Composition according to claim 1, contains retinol, tocopheryl acetate and tannins tri- , tetra-, and pentacyclic triterpene acids.

14. Composition according to claim 1, further contains oils, film formers, antioxidants, antibacterial agents, thickeners including orientalis sweet gum, emulsifiers including lecithin, stabilizing and pH adjusting agents including EDTA, softeners and humectants including dexpanthenol.

15. Composition according to claim 1, is in the form of a colored cream, a milk, solid stick, a lotion, serum or spray.
